Randall is an American rich-kid, attempting to smuggle a 4x4 vehicle across the Sahara Desert. Cécile, his French girlfriend, is not impressed by this. She takes the trip to confirm her worst suspicions about Randall... for one last time.
They keep the nature of this trip secret from Yumi and Atsuko, two Japanese hitchhikers they pick up along the way. But these women guard their own secret: a last wish.
